David Knoecklein was born in Stamford, Connecticut. David studied with Freda Dreany and Ruben Nakian in Stamford, Ct., and Brice Mardin and Robert Mangold in NYC. He studied fine art at The School of Visual Arts in NYC, Yale U., San Francisco Art Institute, Illinois State U., PAFA, and in Florence and Rome, Italy. David has a MS in painting and an MA in philosophy. ‘Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers Award’, ’03,’04. First Award MainLine Arts, First Award at the Malvern Arts, Award of Excellence at Chester County Art Association, Jurors Award of Excellence at MAGOPA.
